B. E. Wedge Holdings remains a traditional Black Country firm and is still family controlled but these days prefers to think of itself as international. The core hot clip galvanizing business remains firmly in the West Midlands but the Company has spread its interests across the UK, into Italy, Germany and in America, emerging as the first truly international hot dip galvanizing group.

Subsidiary, Hasco Thermic Ltd is dedicated to providing the galvanizers of the world with the highest quality service in the design and manufacture of hot-dip galvanizing plant. It is a direct exporter with, a worldwide reputation as a supplier of state of the art galvanizing plant and equipment. The Company has agents covering Europe and other markets worldwide.

The Wedge Group employs 800 people and has an expansionist outlook. It keeps a watchful eye for likely acquisitions both in the UK and Europe whilst maintaining a steady level of investment in hot dip galvanizing plant and equipment. Currently there 15 galvanizing subsidiaries strategically placed in Scotland and the North, the East and West Midlands, South Wales, East Anglia, Essex and across the South of England from London to Devon.

Wedge Holdings has followed a policy of careful acquisition. It has shareholdings in other galvanizing companies and can proudly claim to be the UK's leading galvanizing group.
