A wheel beauty
Newport Galvanizers Ltd has recently galvanized this steel water wheel as part
of the restoration of an historic corn mill in the Brecon Beacons National Park
in Powys. There has been a mill on the site beside the River Usk since around
1200 and maybe even since Roman times. The new wheel, which was galvanized in
sections, measures 10ft-12ft in diameter and has been designed to generate electricity
for the property.
