Acrow Galvanizing has taken time out to reward two of its longest-serving team members with special commemorative watches.
Nick Hasler, General Manager of Acrow Galvanizing, which currently employs a team of 38 from its base at the Ashdon Road Commercial Centre, presented Gary Morgan with a watch and tie to celebrate 21 years working at the company.
After initially joining the firm in November 1990 as a Works Operative, he progressed to firstly become Shift Supervisor, and was subsequently promoted to his current role as Training and Development Supervisor.
In addition, John Nicholson was recognised for his ten-year service with the firm, having started working for the company in February 2001 as a Sales Representative, before taking on the roles of Sales Manager and Commercial Manager, his current position.

“These gifts are just a small way for us to show our huge gratitude for all of Gary and John’s exceptional efforts over the past ten, and in Gary’s case more than 20, years,” Nick Hasler commented. “As a company, retaining and developing our team is crucial. We’ve been heavily involved with the Investors in People skills development programme, which helps to integrate our in-house training and development procedures, and gives our staff all the support they need to progress.”
