Humber Galvanizing has pledged its support of Hull's year as City of Culture by becoming an official Business Club Member of Hull 2017.
The plant has been based in the city for the past two decades, and has become the latest organisation to join the Hull 2017 Business Club - a dedicated partnership initiative set up exclusively for local businesses.
Tony Linsley, Sales Manager at Humber Galvanizing, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be supporting Hull 2017 and the fantastic work that the team is undertaking to showcase our city to the rest of the UK and beyond, and all that it has to offer.
“Having been located on the Citadel Trading Park for twenty years, we really are part of the fabric of the city and, as we look ahead to our own 21st anniversary next year, becoming a member of Hull 2017’s Business Club seemed like the perfect way to celebrate.
“We are immensely proud of our roots here in Hull and of the wealth of fantastic businesses operating across the length and breadth of the region, many of which we have had the pleasure of working alongside for a number of years. Our status as official Business Club members provides us with a unique platform from which to demonstrate our support for the city and puts us in an enviable position to make a real contribution to the success of this opportunity for Hull and surrounding areas.
“The whole Humber team is immensely honoured to have the opportunity to work alongside fellow businesses from across the region in championing the city and in being part of this wonderful legacy, and we are hugely excited about what is to come over the months ahead.”
