Humber Galvanizing Ltd's sponsorship of local motorbike racer Jordan Rushby has helped to ensure a speedy recovery after he was injured while competing.
The 23-year-old has been racing motorbikes for more than 12 years and has recently enjoyed the support of Humber Galvanizing Ltd. for race day sponsorship.
A back injury last season put the brakes on competing for his team Alliance Steel Racing but having recovered Jordan is now revved and raring to go.
Dad Nigel Rushby, of city-based Alliance Steel Services Ltd., thanked the team at Humber Galvanizing Ltd. for their support of his son.
He added: “We’ve been a customer of theirs for more than a decade and have a great relationship with them. For them to add their support through sponsorship of Jordan is fantastic and much appreciated, especially following his injury and during his recovery.”
Jordan has been racing motorbikes since the age of four, and has raced in the British Superbikes Pirelli Superstock 1000 and Thundersport (GB) GP1 and Elite 600 with multiple wins and podium finishes.
Tony Linsley, Sales Manager at Humber Galvanizing, said the firm was proud to be associated with Jordan.
He added: “We were sorry to hear of Jordan’s injury but naturally pleased he’s made a full recovery, and proud to be a sponsor. It’s clear that racing motorbikes is a lifelong passion of his and hopefully with Humber galvanizing on board it will be a winning combination!”
