It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure fabricated steelwork has CE marking. If correct systems and procedures are in place, then the status of the product will not be affected by hot dip galvanizing.
While we are not subject directly to any European harmonised standards (hEN) or European Technical Assessment (ETA), we can assure you that all 14 Wedge Group Galvanizing plants are ready to support customers in the process of legal compliance with the standards set by EN1090 in recognition of the Construction Products Regulation.
This includes having systems in place based upon ISO 9000 which will be compatible and flexible to fit in with our customers' Factory Production Control System - all of which can be discussed at the negotiation stage.
